All Hail the new Book!

This parody expresses how I feel about gadgets trying to convince us that they’re not gadgets for gadget’s sake, but an innovation.

I’m sorry- a book is a book. It’s words, on paper, meant to be read. A book in any other form isn’t a book. It’s something…else. An audio-book? Not a book. It’s a radio play. A book by definition is NOT an auditory medium. It’d be like doing a movie of a comic and still calling it a comic. A painting on canvas copied and printed on glossy paper is no longer a painting. It’s a print. I realized I’ve digressed here from the Kindle itself, but this line of thought is where the Kindle takes me.
