Sci Fi president Dave Howe said the network will “embrace our legacy and our core audience” but look to “cultivate a distinct point of view with a name that we could own that invites more people in and reflects our broader range of programming.” <\/p>\n
Translation : “Since we have abandoned our delusion that we provide quality SciFi programming, we realized that our current marketing strategy isn’t viable. I mean, we show wrestling for God sakes! How is that SciFi? Seriously, with the exception of Eureka, BattleStar Gallactica, and the Stargate franchise, most of what we broadcast is crap.
