I watched the Justified premier last night, and while I enjoyed it, it didn’t feel much like the Justified I’m used to. The show seems to have gone through a tone shift, to a much darker place. The characters are somewhat emotionless (until angry) and villain characters like Boyd Crowder are less likable due to his (and their) increased ruthlessness. So far, the show has lost some of its fun, but there’s only been one episode. I’ll need to see how this season pans out before making any judgment on the show’s direction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
